According to a recent study by the “Nature” journal on September 16, 2015, in 2010, 3.3 million people worldwide died prematurely because of outdoor air pollution. If the situation continues to deteriorate, by 2050, the number of deaths due to outdoor air pollution will double every year, reaching 6.6 million.
